Tax Planning
As a CPA, I do my best to reduce your taxes when I prepare your tax return, but if you have never done Tax Planning, you are most likely overpaying your federal income taxes.
You would be amazed at how much you can reduce your tax bill, sometimes $10,000, $20,000, $50,000 and much more! How is this possible? There is a difference between Tax Preparation and Tax Planning. Tax Preparation is after the fact and there is only so much you can do. Tax Planning analyzes your financial and personal situation from a “tax perspective” and allows you to implement tax saving strategies that are allowable by law. With more than 70,000 pages of tax code, statutes and case law, most people don’t know about it and many CPA’s only do tax preparation.
If you are self employed, or own a small or medium sized business, or own investment property, you may benefit greatly from Tax Planning. Call for a Free Consultation.
