I have been a licensed CPA since 1989. After spending several years as a CPA in the banking industry, I managed all aspects of accounting, financial reporting and taxes for 30 life insurance companies. Then in 2004, I was recruited to work with the Software Development team of the largest tax and accounting software company in the world. My job was to read the tax code, test the software, as well as interface with the IRS.  It was one of the greatest learning opportunities in my career.  I have also been a CPA for several startup and privately held companies.
